Ankur 1732 (Beans ARDL 1732) is a high-yielding bean variety developed by Ankur Seeds, suitable for cultivation in Maharashtra and other regions. This variety is known for its strong, determinate bushy growth with dense foliage, producing flat dark green pods. Each inflorescence bears 8–10 pods, with each pod measuring 4–5 cm in length and containing 4–5 seeds, making it ideal for grain purposes (commonly referred to as Popatwal or Pawta). The first picking can be done at 45–50 days after sowing. Recommended sowing times are during the Kharif season (July–August) and the Rabi season (September–November).
